Library of Stockholm University of the Arts
The library at Stockholm University of the Arts is located at three different addresses, reflecting the physical location of the subjects of acting, performing arts and film/media, dance, dance education and circus, and finally opera. Loans and reading places are primarily reserved for SKH students and staff, but others are also welcome to get in touch. SKH’s libraries are part of the national interlibrary loan service between Swedish libraries.
The library supports the core activities with information provision and documentation. This means that the university’s various programmes and research activities are offered search assistance, source criticism skills, and relevant material in the fields of performing arts and mediated art. The library also provides guidance in reference management and support in the final documentation, archiving and publication of independent work such as degree projects and research results.
The library’s collection is registered in the Swedish national library database LIBRIS. The publishing platforms DiVA (Digital Academic Archive) and RC (Research Catalogue) are used for documentation and publication.
