The Berlin University of Applied Sciences is a university that specialises in theatre and event technology and management, in addition to mechanical engineering, architecture and a variety of other technical subjects. Based in Berlin, the university looks back on a long history of innovation and was the first to launch degree programmes in theatre technology in the German-speaking world. Its graduates hold leading positions in the theatre, live event and entertainment industries. Practical training and research are particular strengths of the university, which was involved as a German partner in the first Canon project from 2019 to 2022.
